The Bible is full of people who were not perfect. Jacob lied. Martha worried. Jonah ran from God. Abraham was too old. Timothy was too young. But God used them anyways.
God is not looking for perfect people. We are only made righteous through belief in Jesus Christ who died for our sins. Focus on Christ’s perfection, instead of your imperfection. Go to God with all your flaws and ask him to use you for his glory. He will bless you in so many ways.
2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
